Trades

This program is tailored specifically to People working in Trades and Transport industries. Given the overrepresentation of people in this sector in toxic drug-related incidents and mortalities, we’ve developed experiences (Presentations, Story Walks) designed to travel to trades workplaces and classrooms, aiming to open dialogue, develop support networks, and learn about important services for this demographic. We’ve also conducted research and consultation designed to serve People in Trades who use substances. Programs can take various forms, including 15-minute presentations, 2-hour long Story Walks, and more. Walk With Me Trades events take place in various contexts – as staff training, professional development, safety training, among others.
